Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal provided a solid start, accumulating 42 runs in the first eight overs of the day. However, England's captain Joe Root struck, dismissing Jaiswal, which set the stage for a sudden resurgence from the English side. Despite Rohit Sharma crossing his half-century milestone, England managed to send back both Rohit and Rajat Patidar in quick succession, significantly altering the course of the match.

Day 3 of the Test had witnessed a remarkable recovery from India, led by standout performances from Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Dhruv Jurel. Jurel's impressive knock of 90 runs off 149 balls powered India to a respectable total of 307 in their first innings. Ashwin and Kuldeep then wreaked havoc on the English batting lineup, with Ashwin securing a five-wicket haul and Kuldeep claiming four crucial wickets to bundle out England for a mere 145 runs in their second innings.

Chasing a target of 192 runs for victory, India's openers seemed unfazed on a pitch offering sharp turn and occasional low bounce. However, England's bowlers, led by off-spinner Shoaib Bashir's impressive five-wicket haul, posed a formidable challenge to the Indian batsmen.

The highlight of the day was Ashwin's triple strike, which saw the dismissals of key English batsmen, including Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, and England's captain Joe Root. Ashwin's crucial breakthroughs, coupled with Kuldeep's impactful spell, tilted the momentum in India's favor.

Despite England's valiant efforts, India maintained their stronghold on the match, capitalizing on the spin-friendly conditions and mounting pressure on the English batsmen. With the series poised at 2-1 in favor of India, a victory in Ranchi would seal the series win for the hosts, further solidifying their dominance in the Test arena.

As the action unfolds on the field, cricket fans eagerly await the outcome of this closely contested battle between two cricketing giants. With both teams showcasing their resilience and skill, Day 4 promises to be yet another thrilling chapter in the ongoing Test series between India and England.
