Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has announced that they will be hosting India for a thrilling five-match T20I series in July | Reddy Anna Book. The matches are scheduled to take place exclusively at the Harare Sports Club, commencing shortly after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup.
Scheduled for July 6, 7, 10, 13, and 14, the series promises an exciting showdown between the two cricketing powerhouses.
In a statement, ZC expressed their delight in confirming the tour, highlighting the productive discussions held between ZC and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The primary objective of the series is to strengthen bilateral ties and foster collaboration between the two cricketing boards.
Mr. Tavengwa Mukuhlani, Chairman of ZC, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting India, recognizing the significant impact of India's influence and dedication to the sport. He extended gratitude to the BCCI for their commitment to touring Zimbabwe, emphasizing the importance of the series in Zimbabwe's efforts to reclaim its position as a competitive force in international cricket.
